Time sure flies in the blink of an eye…especially right before an exam.
Yes, its finally just a week before the exam, and I am seriously getting the crazy emotional roller coaster and the almost-neuropathic jitters.
It’s my third exam in uni, and you might think I should have gotten used to it all by now, but no, I think I’m getting more and more frightened and paranoid each time.
But maybe I do have a good reason too, because this time, along with the usual end-of-course exam, we are served with a delicious dessert of the year-1 progressive practical exam, just a week after the e-o-c. Sweet, don’t you think? Just what the doctor ordered (not a very good irony with being a med student).
Anyway, I guess the system of the faculty works well for us this way, because a couple of years ago, our senior students (currently 4th years, I think) had to sit for one prac exam in the end of phase-1 (end of years 1 and 2). That’s 2 whole years’ worth of prac crammed into one exam. Uh, yeah, no thanks!!! Consider ourselves lucky now.
I think I’m gonna head off to the yoga class now; my nerves deserve some rest. My hands are literally shaking a bit now…I know, paranoia prevails
